Recovery Without Walls

Recovery Without Walls is a non-profit organization providing support to women on Cape Cod after treatment for substance abuse. It’s a small program, but it’s growing rapidly. Through a newly updated website, RWW seeks to increase awareness, donations, and most importantly to provide more resources for women. In particular, the site needed better SEO for exposure, and publicity features.

Using a customized WordPress installation, I set up some tools to do all of the above. Fund-raising events can be quickly publicized in a blog-style press release; photo galleries are a cinch, and the site is built to grow. RWW plans on making their site a portal for information on substance abuse, and it’s all easily incorporated into the system.

As for the design, it makes use of pure CSS, jQuery, and calming colors (like purple!).
